At Shadow Chat, your privacy is our priority. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can manage it.

What We Collect

• Your mobile phone number (for account verification)
• Profile name and optional profile picture
• Contacts from your address book (only to show which contacts use Shadow Chat)
• Encrypted message content (never readable by us)

What We Do NOT Collect

• Message content (end-to-end encrypted)
• Call audio or video
• Location data
• Metadata about who you message or when
• Any data for advertising or profiling

Data Storage

All chat backups are stored in your personal Google Drive account. We do not store your messages on our servers after delivery.

Your Rights

You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your profile, messages (from our systems), and media are permanently removed within 30 days.

We may update this policy occasionally. The latest version will always be posted here.
